Howard Tollin is President of Sterling Environmental Services, and serves as Executive Vice President of Sterling Risk. He and his team work closely with clients and their lawyers on evaluating legal and contractual responsibilities. They negotiate comprehensive insurance coverage under many different general liability, professional liability and pollution liability policy forms. Tollin is part of a collaberative environment at SterlingRisk in which highly skilled professionals provide their expertise during the underwriting process, servicing of policies and facilitation of claims to best protect their client’s interests. Tollin has over 24 years of expertise with environmental law and insurance risk management. As an environmental insurance lawyer and then insurance broker, Tollin has worked on hundreds of property transactions involving contaminated brownfield properties, mergers and acquisitions, and construction projects.
Tollin has recently served as an expert witness in several insurance matters involving disputes over insurance coverage. As the Managing Director of Sterling Analytics, he has also served as an expert witness over the reasonableness of attorney fees.
